How many pictures will a 2 GB XD memory card hold?
I have the Olympyus Stylus 840. It requires an XD Memory card. How many pictures will a XD 2GB Type H hold for a 8.0 MegaPixel Camera? Also, is type h better?
Type H xD cards are better because they’re a bit faster than Type M cards.
With your camera, you should be able to shoot approx. 250 images per 1GB at the best quality setting (which you should always shoot at). Don’t forget to format it before you use it. Check your manual if you don’t know how to do it.
Also your User Manual will give you a guide on how many images you can shoot per 1GB. Look in the Specifications section.
p.s. you don’t have to buy an Olympus branded xD card. Any good brand will do.
