Prius Battery Replacements-What Are Your Options, How To Fix This Problem-
If your Toyota Prius battery life has expired then you might be looking for a Prius battery replacement. What you need to know that could make the difference in your pockets.
For the last 2 years I have been looking for a cheap solution for the 01′-03′ Toyota Prius battery pack problem. If you haven’t done much research yet, then let me fill you in.
Generation I. battery packs are found in 01′-03′ Toyota Prius Cars. The battery packs are in very, very short supply. If you have an 01′-03′ Toyota Prius, then you will find when it is time to replace your battery pack after either about 140,000 miles, or 7 to 10 years, depending on the car. You will need a replacement and you will not be able to find one for less then about $2,500, and that is for a rebuilt battery pack.
What have I been doing for my Toyota Prius Battery Replacements?
For the last 2 years I have been rebuilding my own 01′-03″ Generation I. battery packs with my own two hands using new modules. This can be done using about 5 to 10 hand tools, nothing special, just regular hand tools that you find in an every day tool box.
The battery packs have been lasting very well, and the solution only costs about $300 to $500 dollars depending on the day for some reason. Some days I can find great deals, some days not so much. But no matter how bad the deals get, I can’t imagine spending what Toyota charges for a Prius battery Replacement, which is about $4,000.
