test household batteries
How do i test household battery life (alkaline or NI-MH)?
I would like to test battery longevity of household AA batteries. I would like to do this inexpensively. Can i buy something or build something from radio shack or somewhere else?
A batteries longevity is related to the circuitry or device that it powers, and the constant current drain.
Batteries in a T.V. remote control for example last much longer then the same batteries in a Portable CD player.
If your thinking about benchmark testing different brands you need to design a control circuit that simulates a load on the battery and monitors its voltage drop over time
