holiday digital cards
How can I store digital photos whilst travelling?
I am going on holiday soon and I am one for taking loads of digital photos. I want a way to be able to take my digital pics of my cameras’ memory cards that is cheap and easy. I have a quite a few memory cards (my camera takes XD and SD memory cards) so don’t really want to buy any more. And I have thought about going to a cyber cafe and putting it onto my USB pen drives, but not sure if I will have time as I am in a group of friends. Not taking my laptop as we are camping. I have seen digital storage devices, but theya ll have LCD screens for viewing and cost too much money. I am not bothered about veiwing the pictures, just want somewhere to store them. The chearper the better really.
WWFC- That would mean having to take my laptop, or using a cyber cafe, options which I said I didn’t really want to do. Thank you for your help anyway. X
Have you thought of a “photo bank”, it’s what I use on vacation. It’s merely a battery powered laptop hardrive with a built-in multi-card reader. They work very well. Only problem is that after you’ve downloaded your pictures, you have to trust that they’ve been stored. There is no means to review them (no LCD screen) until you get home. Here’s one example:
