SOLAR SYNTH by Preston Spurlock

“Solar Synth” is an experiment in video overlaying. I took a slowed-down, heavily altered Flip video of my sister’s Zu Zu Pet and superimposed it over a sped-up, heavily altered Flip video that my cousin Chase shot of me playing keyboards (I’m playing a chord organ with my left hand and a Moog Rouge with my right). I liked the way the images and sounds synced up. The last third in particular has a cool, surprisingly trancey feel. Hope you dig. www.prestonspurlock.com http
