starcraft shield batteries

Do anyone use Battery for Protoss?

I mean Starcraft I, Battery station which recharge the shield, I have never seen somebody use it, but I used it and find it works well.
Can you tell me why people or you don’t use it?

I don’t simply because any units that get roasted were expendable. I save the big stuff for one big assault, and let the Zealots and Dragoons die in defense of my area.
