secure digital card makers

How to import a video from a sandisk memory card onto windows movie maker?
I’m having troubles importing videos from a sandisk memory card, onto windows movie maker. For some reason, when I go to import the video(s) from the “secure digital storage device” file found on my computer once the sd card is inserted and double click the icon inside the file appears to be empty “only” when I am in windows movie maker, and I have over 100 videos saved on my sd card. I am able to see the videos when I open the file on windows media player and on onetruemedia.com, but not in windows movie maker (I’m trying to edit my video and add audio). How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance!
Only certain file types are associated or can be handled by windows movie maker look at the link for more info. You will have to convert the files then transfer them to movie maker. Good luck.
