What is difference between Sanyo-eneloop rechargeable batteries and plain Sanyo rechargeable batteries?
I know eneloop has several great qualities…..but its not easily available(I am from India)…..But the plain Sanyo rechargeable batteries are available…I want to know whether these are any good….ie whether these have properties like Eneloop, like Low self discharge, long lasting etc
The plain Sanyo rechargeable batteries are perfectly good batteries, but their performance is typical of any other conventional Nimh battery: moderate self-discharge, and so on. The advantage of the Eneloop battery is that it retains its charge better while idle. The advantage of conventional Nimh cells is their slightly greater power density (and thus somewhat longer run-time when fully charged).
