SanDisk Ultra® II SD vs. SanDisk Standard SD?
How much faster is the Ultra II SD memory sticks than the SanDisk Standard SD memory cards? For a point an shoot camera with pictures around 2.5 meg each, is it worth going to the Ultra II?
I am using a Canon 850 IS so the camera DOES fully support the Ultra II cards.
Even though this camera is ‘ONLY’ a point & shoot model, you really do need to use a high speed memory card (for smooth operation, especially when shooting high quality movies).
The Sandisk Ultra II is fine…but the camera will work even better if you go one card up, to the Sandisk Extreme III SD card, which only costs a little more than the Ultra II…
