You can downgrade ANY PSP!
You will need to hard mod you battery if you do not have another psp handy that already has custom firmware installed…. http://www.darkbeginning.com/pandora-hard-mod.php
Once you have your battery ready, it’s time to make the memory stick… I use Despertar del Cementerio version 3 m33 3.71

Now you should have your pandora & magic memory stick ready, just insert the memory stick, then the battery…the Green lights should flash then read from the memory stick…boot insto service mode and ask if you want to install M33 3.71 Custom firmware….Hit X and let the install run…after it’s finished the PSP will reboot. Shut Down the PSP all the way, then reboot Holding the [R] Trigger which takes you to the VSH Menu…
Go to >Configuration and change UMD Driver to”Sony NP9660 NoUMD”
I usually set the CPU speed to 333mhz for UMD|ISO
Exit the VSH….reboot and start dragging games to the ISO folder…
