What do you folks think about the new Beatles Remastered Boxset Release? Is it worth $199?
I want to get it but I thought the albums I had were already remastered. Most I don’t have. What do Beatles fans think? Is this remastered boxset worth it which sounds like a carefully remastered project that took a couple of years to do with documentaries included.

I have heard these “remastered” versions and to me they do not sound that different (or different at all) than the version on the cd’s I already own.
I love The Beatles and I own all of these albums (some on vinyl) and I just do not think it’s worth the price to be honest with you. I see a lot of the albums I have on cd for 5-10 bucks and it sounds the same to me.
If you really want it then buy it, but my personal opinion is that it is not worth it.
I will tell you that I think the “anthology” albums are worth it, I love hearing the banter between the guys during songs, the unfinished lyrics and sometimes the sudden bursts of laughter when all goes wrong. Really makes me smile.
