And, frequently, the battery gets so drained that even when you first plug in the power cable, it still doesn’t want to turn on. The trick with the Acer Laptop, is to let it wait for say 15 minutes, to allow the battery to charge up a little and then try powering it on.
Why not send it back for repairs?
A motherboard replacement will be a costly undertaking if you send it back to the company for them to do it … probably not less than a few hundred dollars!!
Plus, when you factor in the time it would take for all of this, round trip plus time at the factory, plus all the shipping costs and insurance, time at the post office, having to buy proper packaging material – it just becomes more and more attractive for you you to consider just changing the motherboard yourself.
