rechargeable flash batteries
problem with Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries?
I bought 4 rechargeable 3v 123 batteries to power my surefire torch/flashlight, they charged up ok first time, but they’ve blown my surefire bulb twice now. I’m not putting them in again I’m just wondering why they flashed and blew the bulb instantly?
I know surefire does rechargeable batteries and lithium rechargeables exist, but these have 1000mAh written on them and it scares me. Can someone educate me on electricity since I’m obviously not understanding this.
Lithium batteries are powerful batteries, many camera’s and laptops have them, and you can’t even bring extra ones on airplanes anymore. I don’t think the bulb should be burning out, unless you have the wrong batteries or bulbs.
