rc electric batteries
Any electric aero-modelers here?
I’m switching from glow engines to electric powered flight.
But I’m not sure how the power system works……Does only one battery supply power to BOTH the receiver system and the main thrust motor?
Or do they each have their own battery for longer flight time?
I plan to build my own 6 channel rc airplane.
Usually the receiver and motor run off the same battery via the motor controller. The controller has wires for the motor, battery, and also plug into the receiver on the channel you use for the throttle.
