China Petroleum Industry: optimistic about the future development
   As the Mainland’s oil resources are limited, China becomes increasingly dependent on imported oil to meet its rapidly growing demand for oil. Mainland oil production in 2000-08, by 2% compound annual growth rate of the steady increase in consumption of oil is much lower than during the annual compound growth rate of 7%.
