Maglite Flashlight question?
What is the difference between the 2D, 3D, 4D, ect.. maglites? Besides the obvious difference in batteries and Volts.. what is the benefit to having a higher Volt Maglite?
major difference, a 2D fits on the gun belt better, and a 5D makes one heck of a club (rumor has it, Mag moved the serial number from the end to the head as to not leave a mark when the 5D is used as a club).
You get more voltage with the larger lights, this allows you to use different lamps to get longer life and brighter light.
I have a 2D, 3D and a 5D… as well as a bunch or miniMags and MagCharger.
