should i unplug my mac when the battery is done charging? keep in mind that its going to stay on my desk, so should i unplug it or just leave it in?
Yes. Never letting your battery drain can cause it to lose the ability to hold a full charge, and leaving it plugged in all the time will cause it to wear out faster. Let your battery drain completely or almost completely at least once a week. Unplug it from the charger and close the lid whenever possible. The only time you should leave it plugged in when it’s not charging is if it needs to be on for a long period of time and you can’t put it to sleep (i.e. you’re downloading a huge file). Other than that you should put it to sleep or turn it off when it’s not in use.
