Is there a difference between Lenovo’s ideapad and thinkpad laptops?
Im shopping for a Lenovo. I just want a laptop for school. For notes, writing assignments, email, and internet. I dont care about storing photos or playing games.
The ThinkPads are commercial level and the IdeaPads are more consumer level.
The ThinkPads tend to be smaller and lighter for the same screen size, they have trackpoint mice as well as a touchpad, they tend to have more features and are more robustly built.
The IdeaPads are cheaper. They also have better audio and stuff more for the home user than an office user.
