General Description Of Apple Mobile iPhone Battery

Viewing Usage Information:
Knowledge of how you use your iPhone and assessing how long your battery usually lasts can help to enhance the shelf life of the battery. You can see your iPhone usage statistics by pressing the settings icon on the Home display and choosing General > Usage. Under the “Time since last full charge” option you can see two items:
1. Usage: amount of time iPhone has been on and in utilization since the last full charge. The mobile phone is on when you are calling using email, listening to music, searching the web, or sending and receiving text messages or during certain background tasks such as auto checking email.
2. Standby: amount of time iphone has been in operation since its last full charge, including the time the phone has been asleep.
Update to the latest software: Always make it a point that your iPhone has the advanced software from Apple, as manufactures may develop new techniques to enhance battery performance. Using iTunes 8.2 or later, you can update your iPhone with the advanced software. Attach the iPhone with the computer, and then select iPhone in the Source List. In the review section, click “Check for Updates” to check if there is a latest edition of the iPhone software available. Click update to install the new edition.
Optimize your Settings:
1. Reduce usage of location services: applications that vigorously use locations services such as maps may decrease battery shelf life. To disengage location services, go to Settings > General > Location services or use location services when seriously needed.
2. Turn off push notifications: some applications from the Apple store use the Apple push notification service to aware you of the latest data. Those applications that broadly rely on push notifications may directly impact the shelf life of the mobile battery. To disengage push notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and set Notifications to off.
These are some of the guidelines if followed correctly may enhance the productivity and increase the life of the mobile phone battery.
