A rechargeable battery of an emergency light is fully discharged.How to recharge it?
The battery is “Sunca” brand mfd, by Sun Fat Electric Products(Hong Kong) Int’l Ltd. Rating 6 v, 4 Ah
Dear Vali,
the Sunca brand uses a 6V or a 12 V battery that is similar to the battery used inside a UPS. If the battery is fully discharged, and your light is over 12 months / 18 months older, then I suggest a battery swap. Make sure the light is plugged out of Electricity, and then you open the side flap and take the battery out. The Battery is connected with two terminals (red and black) red goes to the positive marked with a (+) and the black to the negative marked with (-). You can find this battery at nearly all electrical stores, across the globe, and the battery should not cost you more than 10$ or Rs. 500 in case you are in India. Bring a new battery, and change it. If you are in India, then getting someone else to change it for you will be free of cost
