It should play most games. However you will not be able to push the graphics very much in most newer games. That maching might have been really good 4 or 5 years ago but compared to current machines, this one would be lucky to get 1/4th the performace. Since you can get a pretty good current machine at best buy for around $900, I wouldn’t think this machine is worth more then $250.
Upgrade the video card 8800GT or better, get at least 2 GB of RAM but 3 would be better, and get any curret AMD or Intel dual core or quad core cpu. Then you can play pretty much any game you want with the setting pretty high.
