Is anyone else having this Reinstalling vista problem on Dell computers?
Okay, I try reinstalling vista on a dell computer. Everytime i finish reinstalling it the resolution is only 640×480 and running at 16bit. I found a way to fix it by usin the resource DVD provided by dell. IM just wondering will i gotta do that if i get a brand new hardrive. I gotta do this even when i have a different windows cd not an oem cd from dell.
Make sure you know what kind of video card your Dell computer has, and it support by Vista. Does Vista has the driver for it? If it does go for it and if it doesn’t you will get only 640X480 resolution and 16 bit color.
