charging batteries series
How long does it take to charge two 12v battery’s in series?
I have a mobile billboard truck and the battery’s have recently ran out of juice. So i have them set up to charge as per the instructions of the electrical technician, but its been charging for at least 15hrs now….still hasn’t charged is this normal?
in series, it will not be able to do it, in that situation you need a 24 volt power source to charge the two batteries. in parallel, you might not want to try that one either. many moons ago, i saw two batteries connected in that fashion to a charger, the batteries melted and could not be salvaged. be patient and hook them up one at a time or find a friend that has a second charge (i own two or three)
