What is the difference between a 6 cell lithium battery and a 9 cell lithium battery?
I assume the 9 cell holds a charge longer. I’m looking to upgrade to a newer laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Since there are 50% more cells, it should last 50% longer. Also, it means that the battery itself will be 50% heavier. Maybe by a half-pound.
Our company Dell Latitude laptops with 6-cell Lithium batts go on for 3+ hours brand new. The 9-cell bats go to around 5+ hours
