Blue Battery
My car won’t start because there is green-blue yucky stuff on my battery terminal. How do I clean it FAST?
I like to use household stuff. Can’t get to the store right now.
I KNOW THIS!!! ha ha.. my Jeep died two days ago because of this. The green-blue yucky stuff is the sulfuric acid inside the battery that leaked out and hardened into sulfurous. It is safe to touch. Just take a hard-bristled tooth brush and using the end without bristles hit the stuff off. Then take a wrench and remove the two battery connections (don’t worry, there isn’t enough current to kill you, battery makers stop it) then scrub with the bristle side. Finally take a paper towel with Windex or some other cleaner and wipe it down. Reconnect the battery connections. Try starting your car. If this doesn’t work it means your battery has also died and unfortunately you must go out and get a replacement.
