beatles vinyl remastered

beatles vinyl remastered
Is there a difference between the “remastered” versions of The Beatles’ albums and the old ones?

I have some of The Beatles album on CD. But now those are re-released as “remastered”. Please answer if you have them or have listen to them. I want to know if the quality of the sound is better or just plain louder. I know the quality of the sound (as intended by the artist) can get lost between changes in media (like from vinyl to CD or digital). So I don’t want to buy them if the sound is just loud and distorted.

I have Revolver, Sgt Pepper’s, Past Masters and A Hard Days Night remastered and I have all of their albums not remastered, there isn’t much of a difference from the ones I have got, but the 1st disc of Past Masters (with all their earlier hits like Love Me Do and I Feel Fine) sounds a bit different than the other Past Masters.
A Hard Days Night sounds the most different out of the others too.
But the sound is a lot more clearer and as someone already said, there’s a few things that haven’t been noticed before.
There are videos on youtube that have the remastered songs on there, so it’s best to give those a listen to see what you think of them.

It’s rather incredible to ponder the fact that with the release of The McCartney Years in late 2007, Paul McCartney has now been making recordings in various mediums for the better part of 40 years–and that’s not even including the decade he spent as a member of the world’s greatest band. And while some may quibble about certain details of the content and presentation, this three-disc set, packed…
