beatles plaque
are you obessed with the beatles like me? just wondering?
im just wondering how many people out there love the beatles as i do !
im obsessed: i have four big posters of them 2 john lennon, a fleece beatles blanket, beatles playing cards, beatles old movies, plaques with their faces on them, 3 big frames of george paul and lennon[sorry ringo] and lastly one of their original records. anyone else share the same love for them ?

I admit that I am obsessed. We just went to the RAIN: The Beatles Experience concert – in Detroit, MI. It was awesome. To build up for it I listened to Revolver, Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, Please Please Me, White Album, Let it Be, Rubber Soul, and Yellow Submarine back-to-back for a week straight. It was great. I just had it playing on my iPod at my desk.
I used to sit up all hours of the night listening to song by song and researching its origin while taking it in.
Me, my brother-in-law, and his uncle get together on the weekends and jam out to Beatles music. Usually its just acoustic guitars with some egg shakers, tambourines, or harmonicas. But once and a while we’ll go to my house and get someone on drums and go some heavy Beatles rock (Day Tripper, Things We Said Today, All My Lovin’, A Day in the Life, etc)
My uncle and Dad were in a two man Beatles cover band back in the 80s. They played weddings and events – so I have been around it forever. Without The Beatles life would be a much more dismal event.
What are your favorite more obscure Beatles songs? I really like: (to name a few)
- I’m Only Sleeping (probably one of my top 5 favs)
- The continuing story of buffalo bill
- Sea of time (amazing)
- Two of us
- Dig a pony
