Do you think some teenage girls use the Beatles as a fashion statement?
I was in a store and a girl had a Beatles purse. She looked like she listened to Lady Gaga not The beatles and a kid I knew had a Rolling STones shirt and I asked him what his favorite song was and he said, “I dunno.” He had no clue who they were.
I think so, unfortunately.
Not me, though.
I go all out. Beatles shirt, earrings, necklace, complete with a John Lennon Imagine bracelet.
I do have ONE Rolling Stones shirt. Still trying to find a Kinks one.
(Some of my favourite songs are ‘Paint It Black’ and ‘Get Off Of My Cloud’ by the way)
***Since Across the Universe came out (NOT the best movie ever), they think they like The Beatles… It’s sad
