beatles help remastered
I need help with identifying a Beatles made-for-TV movie.?
Ok, so I’ve perused The Beatles filmography page and can’t seem to find this movie that I remember seeing when I was young. I believe it was a made-for-TV movie that aired in the mid to late 1990′s. I don’t believe it’s Backbeat or The Beatles anthology movie that aired as a 3 part, 6 hour series on ABC. I recall it being a 2 part, 4 hour series that chronicled The Beatles from beginning to end. I recall the movie focusing heavily on their drug phases and actors playing the roles of the four Beatles (not a documentary). It equally focused on their success, relationships, where they drew their inspiration for certain songs, etc.
Does anybody have any idea what movie this could be? I remember it being very well done, but now can’t seem to find any evidence that it exists. Perhaps it was a movie that had aired many years before but had been digitally remastered or something. Hopefully someone has an idea.

After reading all of the details on IMDB, I’m confidant that this is what you want. I’m sure it was edited down to fit on TV so the DVD version is much more detailed. But this special was shown on ABC and has detailed info about songs and their personal lives. This has to be it.
