beatles concert

Why did everyone cry when they saw the beatles in concert?
I understand they are absolutly amazing! But histerically crying because your seeing them is a little ridiculous.
I addmit i’d get teary eyed if I could back in time and see them play live. ahha I was spewing joy when I saw an imatation concert last summer.
at that time no one had every seen anything like that. For one, they were a group, not a singer with a back up band and not just a group of doo-wop vocalists. Bands practically didn’t exist in the 1950′s.
For another, they had a completely different look; hair down instead of back, suits, skinny ties, tall heeled boots, etc.
For another still they wrote most of their own songs; something virtually unheard of prior to that.
They were so different, so shocking, so unusual, and combined with being great musicians & songwriters, and being young men in tight trousers, most of their concert audience (largely young women) simply went crazy during their performances.
No one has ever quite duplicated that since and probably never will as most of what happens today are old ideas getting rehashed. The Beatles (along with George Martin and Brian Epstein) actually created something completely new and different, and that’s rare.
