The Beatles first album ‘With The Beatles’ had a German version ‘Mit Dem Beatles’?
All the vocals were song in German on this album. Is this copy a collectors item as I have not seen or heard of it anywhere else?
From what I understand, “Sie liebt dich” and “Komm, gib mir deine Hand” are the only songs the Beatles ever recorded entirely in “proper” German (their pronunciation is laughably atrocious, though). Aside from these, there’s a version of “My Bonnie” that is done partly in German, and in 1969 Paul McCartney did a pidgin German version of “Get Back”.
