On The Beatles Capitol Boxed Set, why are I Feel Fine and She’s A Woman drowned in reverb?
Most of the tracks on this box set sound like the originals, but these two sound like they were recorded in a large hall. Is it because they’re stereo remixes?
The original Capitol releases of these songs were drowned in reverb. Back in ’65, Capitol thought it was better for the American audience. The CDs merely replicate what was released on the LPs.
