beatles bob spitz

Whatever happened to Freddie Lennon?(John’s dad) and his mother’s daughter given up for adoption?
I read the beatles biography by Bob Spitz, and I read about John Lennon’s father, Freddie, who left and went to New Zealand or somewhere around there.
What ever happened to him? What did he do with the rest of his life and I also read about Johns mother, Julia and how she had a second child, a girl named Victoria who she gave up for adoption. Victoria had a different father than Lennon.
What happened to her, too?
Hopefully someone can answer this, I’m very curious to know the answer.

Thanks
Victoria was adopted by a ship captain…Pedersen…and grew up in Norway…under the name Ingrid Pedersen. Here is her story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/157276.stm
