how would i find out how to fit a “battery eliminator” to a sex toy?
someone on here gave me a great idea to save a fortune in batteries – trouble is, i have no idea how to either source or fit a battery eliminator to my best friend!
there are 2 things to considr when choosing a battery eliminator
1 the voltage that it supplies
2 the current that is is capable of supplying
the first is easy. count how many batteries your little toy takes and multiply the answer by 1.5
the second depends on the power drawn by the motor
if it usually uses aa batteries, then it probably uses less power than if it ran on c cells
i would suggest 500mahr as a minimum – if you were going in for a marathon! choose maybe 1 amphr capability
attaching it is quite simple
you need to make a “dummy battery pack”
make a battery from glass fibre resin or something similar – the same size as the batteries
solder washers onto the ends of the wires of the battery eliminator then glue these onto the end of the dummy battery pack – positive at the top [button end] and negative at the bottom [flat end]
simply insert the pack where the batteries normallylive – power up – and buz away to your heart’s content
