What automotive battery is made in the USA?
Almost every auto battery you can buy was made in the US. Since they contain so much lead and cost relatively little auto batteries are to heavy too cost effectively ship internationally. Johnson controls is the largest battery manufacturer in the US. Their batteries are sold under almost every brand name you can think of including DieHard, Duralast, Interstate, ProStart, and Everstart as well as about a dozen private label brands you may never have heard of. If they didn’t make it it’s most likely either made by Exide or AC Delco which are also made in the US.
