Why wont my new cell phone send or receive text messages?
i just got my new pantech slate from the att retail store and my mom add unlimted text messages to my plan because before it was disabled but now i got unlimited text messages like i said but it wont send or receive because i tried to send text messages from my mom blackberry curve to mines and it still didnt work so i tried turning it off and on and i tried taking the battery and the sim card out and turing it back on and it still didnt send or receive messages it has been over 3 hours and it doesnt work so can any one give me any detail on the issure do the plan take time to update or sumthing ?
Wait a few hours and see if it clears up on it’s own. If it does not, most likely provisioning of texting is wrong on your account. You’ll have to call customer care for that.
