Money for old car batteries?

I have a few old car batteries, someone told me that certain metal recyclers will give you a few bucks for them. However the nearest place to me only offers $2 a battery, does anyone know of a place in the Union County, NJ area that offers more?

you won’t get much more for the batteries, as i have tried getting the most for all mine. $2 is probally as good as it’s going to get.
