What is the actual battery time for a Toshiba Satellite U205-S5034?
The specs indicate that it will last for about 4.5 hours but in my case I have to recharge it after only 2 hours of use.
The specs are probably right, but are for an application that provides minimal drain on the battery … typing on the keyboard. If you are playing a DVD or running a wifi card the laptop will hold a charge for much less time. Also, over time the battery loses it’s ability to hold a charge. So, if the laptop is 2 years old, then it might only hold a charge for a couple hours.
