I just changed my batteries on my TI-86 (Texas Instrument) Calculator…….?
Now when I turn it on the screen is black. I can turn it and look at is sideways and see the numbers I type. I used 4 AAA batteries like it said. I did use lithium ones because on the package it said they would last longer than regular AAA’s. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Try a different set of batteries and see if its just the voltage level of the Lithium ones. They don’t work in everything sometimes the old alkaline are just better suited. You might also check to be sure they installed correctly.
