What are the best batteries to use in a cordless mouse?
I recently bought the Technika Wireless Optical Mouse from Tesco’s and seem to forever be putting new batteries in it. Once every few days in fact. There seems to be no way of disconnecting the link between the USB receiver and the actual mouse. So, the only way that works is to remove the batteries until I next use it. But i’m just wondering if anybody has any easier suggestions, as that’s getting tedious. ;-(
In response to JeffK, nope, I turn the PC off, but the connection seems to stay on (between mouse and receiver), but I don’t know exactly how long for. All I know is, the red laser light on the bottom of the mouse seems to be on for quite a while after.
I have a microsoft wireless mouse and replace the duracell battery about once every 2 months. Do you leave your computer on all the time?
