How can I charge my iPod and camera in Europe?
I am travelling to Europe for the first time this spring. I will be in Paris, Barcelona and London. I am wondering which kind of converter I need to buy in order to charge my second generation iPod touch and my digital camera that uses a rechargeable battery. I have heard about people ruining their hairdryers and straighteners because they couldn’t handle the change in voltage…will this happen to my iPod or camera?
More than likely your chargers are universal switch mode type, which can mostly handle 240 fine, meaning all you need is plug adapters from an electronics or travel store. If the chargers are 120V only you will need a converter transformer also.
