batteries cordless phone
Need to order replacement batteries for cordless phone–change from 800 to 600 mAh okay?
I have two older cordless phones, and the batteries have all but died (I can talk for three or four minutes, tops). One is a GE, the other a Uniden. When I search for the replacements for the models, I keep getting Duracell or Energizer battery numbers that say they fit the phones. But the batteries that came with the phones are 3.6V, 800 mAh. The replacements are all 3.6V, but only 600 mAv. This is for both the GE and the Uniden–different replacement batteries, but the same issue. Is this a problem? Does it mean it’s a weaker battery (certainly not cheaper!!)
Thanks for helping to educate me on this, I don’t want to waste $15 or $20 on the wrong battery for either phone.
It simply means that the new batteries are RATED as not lasting as long as your originals between recharges. They might actually last as long, but they are RATED as not lasting as long.
eBay is your best bet to buy batteries.
