would NiMH battery cells work in a drill that came with NiCD batteries?
i am gonna replace the cells in 2 18 volt batteries and would like to know if it works and a website i can get them cheap and i ain’t buying the whole battery it cost around $80 each

NiCd is old technology. NiMh is new technology, a replacement for the old, problematic NiCd technology. Yes, NiMh will work just fine, your charger will handle it just fine, and no, I don’t have any websites for you.
You might do an online search for Chicago Battery, a company I used to use. They had replacements for any battery ever made.
