Do cell phone pictures run down cell phone batteries quicker?
My daughter has a TON of pictures on her cell phone, and her cell phone battery runs out much more quickly than my identical phone, even when she’s not using it. I know this is a stretch, but is it possible that all those pictures use more battery power?
She also uses music she recorded on her cell phone as her ringtone. Does that use more battery power than a normal ringtone?
Pictures don’t affect the phone battery when it’s just sitting in the phone. However, if she’s constantly playing with the music, taking pictures, and downloading things on to her cell phone, then yes, it does effect the battery. You, for example seem to rarely use the phone only for the “phone purpose.” However, it could also depend on where you purchased the phone, you may have received a refurbished one. Try switching batteries with your daughter, if the battery life is the same, then it’s her usage. Otherwise, it could be the battery or the phone itself.
