Problem with my HP Pavillion dv6000?
I bought this laptop just over a year ago and had so many problems with it wireless settings went, battery levels low after half hour use.
It has been back to the manufacturer once for repair but now its 2 wks out of warranty it suddenly has lost its sound settings tried everything even at last resort pc recovery check.
Hp customer service have been no help (india based) Anyone else had issues with this company?
Hi tried device manager and sound settings to no avail also my headphones work and external speakers as well just no sound from laptop how convenient it is to stop working just after the warranty runs out!
Check you device manager to see if you have any “question” marks next to the sound device. If yes, there may be a problem with the driver. You will need to update.
If not try connecting the laptop to an external speaker to see if the sound card is the issue and not the build-in microphone.
