aa batteries duracell
I have a maglite flashlight and one of the duracell AA batteries is stuck in it. How do i remove it??
I unscrewed it and tried forcing the battery out to no result.
then i heated the tube thinking it will expand and the batery will comeout but the battery is still stuck and it made a litttle liquid oozing out kind of noise hence i got scared of it exploding or something and let it be.somebody please help me save my flashlight. thanks
If you are VERY careful, you can release the tension due to expansion of the battery (due to decay) by drilling a hole part way through the battery. Use a very slow drill speed, a bit of about 1/4 inch. Drill about half way through the batter and try to remove it, then go a little farther, and try etc. etc. It’ll come out eventually and you, hopefully will be able to clean up the flashlight and use it.
